ATP Rankings: American Men Not in Top 10
With his early loss last week at Washington D.C., top ranked American Andy Roddick's ranking fell to #11 this week. This means that for the first time since these rankings have been in placed (37 years), no American men are in the top 10. Whoa.
19th-ranked John Isner, one of two players that took part in the longest tennis match ever, is the second highest-ranked American. His compatriot Sam Querrey, who recently won the title in Los Angeles a few weeks ago, is #21. Other Americans in the Top 100 include MArdy Fish (#34), Taylor Dent (#81), and Michael Russell (#82). Former top 4 player James Blake is currently ranked 108.
