If You Seek Waldo

Hollywood is probably running of ideas. I mean they are already remaking everything under the sun, but now Variety is reporting that Universal Studios and Illumination Entertainment have secured the rights to turn "Where's Waldo?" to a live-action family pic.


Now I actually have nothing against them making this into a live-action film, but a family pic? What a waste. What I would give for some edgy PG-13 action adventure with Waldo's arch-rival Odlaw killing Wanda and Waldo avenging her death with the help of his dog Woof and the eccentric Wizard Whitebeard only to find out that there's no such person as Odlaw and it was really Waldo all along who murdered her...with his cane. Good stuff.
