US Open Report: Day 9

Another year, another US Open impacted by rain. It really has become such an unfortunate annual tradition and the more it happens, the more people will cry for a roof over Arthur Ashe Stadium even though it's apparently architecturally impossible due to its massive size. Oh well.

At the moment, the people in charge of the schedule are taking an optimistic approach for tomorrow by scheduling all four women's quarterfinal matches, two men's quarterfinal matches, and four of the remaining men's fourth round matches. I'd be shocked if all of them are actually completed tomorrow, but I guess hope springs eternal. Just glad that Roger Federer was able to finish out his match last night just after 1am. He really would've been screwed if he hadn't.

Pray for sunshine tomorrow, everyone!
