Before time runs out, just wanted to give a quick shout-out birthday wishes to two very lovely ladies, Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried. They both appeared in last year's sexually-charged thriller Chloe where they shared a pretty steamy scene together. Other than sharing a birthday, another thing they have in common was that they both started off their careers in the soap opera As the World Turns!
Of course Moore is better known for her movie work now especially with her four Academy Award nominations. Seyfried is also known for her films, but I personally think she has done her best work in TV such as Veronica Mars and Big Love. Though of course if I had to pick her "best work" it'll probably be dim-witted turn as Karen in Mean Girls. Picking a favorite performance for Moore is a bit more difficult since she's done so many, but her Oscar-nominated roles in Far From Heaven and The Hours are definitely up there.
Up next, they'll both play controversial American women. Seyfried will take on Linda Lovelace while Moore will try to do Sarah Palin justice. Best of luck to both.
