HIMYM Suits Up For Its 100th Episode

So how awesome was How I Met Your Mother's 100th episode? Entitled "Girls vs. Suit," it featured the much-hyped musical number with the entire cast headlined by the immensely talented Neil Patrick Harris. I'd like to think it was an homage to Buffy's musical episode "Once More With Feeling" especially since the ending reminded me so much of the "Get the Mustard Out" number from said show. I hope one day they do a full-blown musical episode. This cast is way too talented musically for it not to happen.

That whole thing was great as was the cameo from Tim Gunn as Barney's tailor (of course). But the main plot had to do with Ted getting so very close to meeting his future wife aka the "mother" in the title. Tonight he dated her roommate, played by Rachel Bilson. Did we get to see the mother? No, but the fact that Ted got THIS close to her was enough for me.

Congrats to the cast and crew for reaching this milestone! Onwards to the next 100 episodes!

Oh and a belated congratulations for Alyson Hannigan who took home a People's Choice Award last week for Best Comedy Actress!
