Tennis player Novak Djokovic turns a quarter of a century old today and he's literally on top of the world ranked as the no. 1 tennis player in the world since last July. I'm not his biggest fan (far from it), but the way he has upped his level and went not only toe to toe with two of the greatest tennis players of all time, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, but dominated them for the last year or so deserves great respect.
With 5 Grand Slam titles, including his most recent one at this years Australian Open, he should be seen as one of the favorites at this year's French Open (along with Nadal and Federer) which begins in just a few days. He has yet to reach the finals at Roland Garros, however, losing unforgettably to Federer last year ending his amazing 43-match win streak. And unlike last year, he doesn't have a clay court title this year losing to Nadal in the finals of Monte Carlo and much more recently in Rome. The trivalry lives on.
